More than one hundred 4-H members particpate in the beef program. In addition to the learning that takes place during daily care of
the animal and in the local club, there are opportunities to participate
in fitting and showing activities and judging contests at the three fairs in the county. Also,
every spring there is the Junior Livestock Show.
