The cat program is very popular among 4-H members. More than one
hundred kids participated last year. In addition to the summer fairs,
there are three shows that take place during the year as well as cat
clinics, judging contests, public presentations, and just having fun!
In the 4-H cat program you can:
- Learn about how to care for your cat. Including proper feeding,
grooming, and safety.
- Basic cat ailments and diseases
- Learn how to recognize internal and external parasites
- Learn about health precautions. Including immunization and
sanitation.
- Learn to identify different cat breeds
- Fit and show your cat
- Learn the responsibility of cat ownership.
