One hundred fifty farm and non-farm youth participate together in the Dairy Program. Non-farm 4-H members usually borrow a calf from a local dairy to use in a 4-H project. Judging contests and fitting and showing events take place at the three local fairs. In addition, dairy members took a field trip to Washington State University to visit the Vet School and Animal Science program.
