About Kevin:


Kevin joined WSU Extension in 2007. He helps coordinate forestry education programs, including the forest stewardship "Coached Planning" short courses, workshops on a variety of forestry topics, interpretive programs, and one-on-one technical assistance for landowners. Kevin has a BS in Forest Management and an MS in Forest Economics, both from the University of Washington. Before joining WSU Extension, he held a research appointment with the Rural Technology Initiative at the University of Washington, working on improving technology transfer to forest landowners and developing forest management strategies to better integrate biodiversity and economic objectives.

John Keller is the Northwest Region stewardship forester with the Washington State Department of Resources Forest Stewardship Program, which works in partnership with WSU Extension and others to provide educational programs and technical assistance. If you own 5 or more forested acres in Northwest Washington (I-90 north to the Canadian Border; Olympic Peninsula east to the Cascade Crest), John is available as a resource for site visits and other forestry technical assistance

9/28/2008Registrations are still being accepted for the 2008 Fall Education Series. Learn about forestland security (Oct. 6th) and fire prevention (Oct. 20th).
